Connect resources once
Attach a resource to the lesson, the whole day, or the whole week. Dreamlight can surface it when it is relevant so you do not have to keep hunting for the same file.

Record student evidence where it belongs: Gradebook. Connected areas can use that evidence without asking you to enter the same information again.

Let evidence drive Groups
Use what students actually show you to decide who needs reteaching, reassessment, or a return to core instruction. Groups should respond to evidence — not create extra paperwork.

Keep planning connected
Bring Curriculum, Calendar, Groups, and Resources into Lesson Plans so your planning reflects what you teach, when you teach it, and what students need next.

When you need to understand one student, open the Student Profile instead of piecing together information across multiple pages.

Treat empty states as information
If Dreamlight does not have evidence, it should not invent a claim. A clean zero state can simply mean there is nothing real to report yet.

Use reassessment to close the loop
After targeted instruction, reassess and record the new evidence. Dreamlight can then reflect growth, update the group, and preserve the instructional history.

Adjust Settings instead of starting over
Your profile, curriculum choices, grading setup, connected services, and preferences can be updated later. Your first setup does not have to be perfect.
